Not my cup of tea. I prefer Bach on original instruments, with original tunings etc. Second best is something completely different, like Wendy Carlos. Bach himself would often recycle music for completely different instruments, swapping woodwind for strings or whatever, but much less (if at all) between organ and harpsichord, or recorder and flute.
I noticed a comment of yours on Patheos: “Oh, contraire!” This is the most private way I could find to tell you that it’s actually “Au contraire”, the French for “On the contrary”. I assume that you have the authority to delete comments; feel free to do so, I will not take offense.
Hi! Yes, you are correct. I’ve had several years of French. I just thought it would be funny and folksy, and evoke the ignorance of culturally blinkered theists.
